Hannah was born in Edinburgh and began learning the flute at the age of eight. She is currently in her second year at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland studying flute with Katherine Bryan and piccolo with Janet Richardson.  Hannah is an enthusiastic orchestra player as well as being passionate about chamber and solo repertoire.  She made her concerto debut at sixteen performing the Nielsen flute concerto.  Hannah has won the British Flute Society School Performer Prize , the Abingdon Concerto Competition and was given the opportunity to perform as a Woodwind Category Finalist in BBC Young Musician 2014
