Vera plays clarinet and has studied with Prof. Alexander Neubauer at MUK Wien and Prof. Reiner Wehle at Musikhochschule Lübeck, Germany.

In 2016 Vera won the Fanny Mendelssohn Förderpreis (Germany) and produced her debut CD with Berlin Classics  together with bass player Dominik Wagner, the strings of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and Matthias Schorn, principal clarinettist of the Vienna Philharmonic.

Vera has performed as soloist with a number of orchestras.  
She won 7 first prizes in the Austrian competiton Prima La Musica, and second prize in the 13th International Competition Citta di Chieri (Italy).  Vera also won the audition Musica Juventutis to play recitals in the Wiener Konzerthaus (2015 and 2017) and has been a winner of the Lions Musicprize 2015, Ad Infinitum Foundation and the Fidelio Competiton.
